The technical analysis was analyzed based on the proof of concept prior to testing.  The proof of concept consisted of a small scale version of the project, which included testing four instruments, including two trumpets and two snare drums.  Four musicians from Stevens helped the group with testing after the construction of the module was complete. The idea behind the proof of concept was if the group was able to harvest usable energy from four instruments, it would be possible to be scaled to any situation whether larger, such as for an entire orchestra, or smaller, such as for one musician practicing playing their instrument at home.  The following schematic shows the proof of concept:
